The visitors could see the work of a guitar and violinmaker, also how to make handmade classical guitar and violine. *25.01.2005:* The first concert at the guitar making workshop of Jens Towet was a success in all. In the warm and friendly ambiance of the nicely decorated workshop Christian Winter, Marina Heier, Nina Sämisch and Jens Towet made this evening to an unforgettable event. Christian Winter did play pieces of his current programm from the composer Giuliani, Villa Lobos, Weiß and Carulli with a handmade guitar of Jens Towet. He also introduced his CD "Emotion". Hiermit möchte ich Ihnen auch ein Frohes Weihnachtesfest und einen guten Rutsch wünschen und freue mich von Ihnen zu hören! *Jülicher Guitarplaying Workshop 13 - 14.11.2004* Hans Werner Huppertz is classical guitar player and tutor at the conservatory in Aachen. He was the tutor at the guitarplaying workshop in Jülich in november 2004 and he gave advise in terms of playing and musical problems. Jens Towet guitarmaker from Kevelaer showed his new guitars and gave tips in soundinprovement and care taking of guitars. He was also able to do small repairs on the guitars of the participants during the workshop.
